MICROBLADING
We have a Microblading clinic every Wednesday and one Saturday a month - Jess offers microblading, ombre brows and combi brows. We have one of the very few microblading clinics in Doncaster.

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. It involves using a handheld tool with a very fine blade to create small, precise incisions in the skin of the eyebrow area. These incisions are then filled with pigment to create the appearance of individual eyebrow hairs.

Here's how the microblading process typically works:
1. Consultation: The process often begins with a consultation where the client discusses their desired eyebrow shape, colour, and overall look with a trained and certified microblading technician. The technician will assess the client's natural eyebrow shape and offer recommendations based on their facial features and preferences.

2. Numbing: To minimize discomfort during the procedure, a topical numbing cream is applied to the eyebrow area.

3. Mapping and Design: The technician uses a special tool to carefully measure and map out the desired eyebrow shape, ensuring symmetry and a natural appearance.

4. Microblading: Using the handheld tool with a blade, the technician creates small, hair-like strokes in the skin's upper layers. These strokes are filled with pigment, matching the client's chosen colour.

5. Healing: After the microblading procedure, there is a healing period during which the pigment settles, and the skin heals. It's common to experience some redness and mild scabbing during this time
.
6. Touch-Up: A follow-up appointment is typically scheduled 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure to assess the results and make any necessary touch-ups or adjustments. Microblading is considered semi-permanent because the pigment will fade over time, so periodic touch-ups are needed to maintain the desired look.

Microblading can help people achieve fuller, more defined eyebrows and is especially popular among those with sparse or thinning brows. It can save time on daily eyebrow makeup application and provide a long-lasting solution for those looking to enhance their eyebrows.

It's essential to choose a skilled and certified microblading technician to ensure safety and achieve the desired results, as improper technique or hygiene can lead to complications or unsatisfactory outcomes. Additionally, individuals considering microblading should be aware of the potential risks and allergies associated with tattoo pigments and discuss these with their technician during the consultation.
